The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) exists to support our school, our students and our teachers. Every IHM parent is a member of PTO, many of whom lead or participate in our 30 committees and also assist with fundraisers. The work of PTO falls into two categories: service and fundraising. We always welcome new volunteers to help in any capacity, big or small, with any of the many committees!

1. If you are not yet involved with the PTO, we urge you to consider joining! PTO’s monthly meetings, held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month alternating monthly from 7:00pm in the IHM Library and 8am in the Gathering Space, open to all! Check the monthly calendar for PTO meeting times and location!

2. Committees: Service includes many programs for our children and staff including Friday & Monday Hot Lunch program, Accelerated Reader, the Christmas Concert breakfast, Field Day, Everybody Counts Disability Awareness, After School Enrichment, Cultural Enrichment and more! We also provide special assistance to the IHM staff with monthly lunches for teachers, funds for classroom needs, as well as lunch, recess and library volunteers. 3. Funding: To support these programs, money does need to be raised. The Hot Lunch program is the PTO’s primary fundraiser, supporting the work, efforts and programs supported by the PTO which greatly benefit and enrich our school.
