IHM is blessed with a vibrant community of parents and families. As parents, the primary educators of your children, we are grateful to you for your partnership as we all work together to help form these young minds and guide our students to reach their fullest potential.

Our parents play an active role here at IHM, whether it be as a PTO member, classroom helper, lunch or recess volunteer, field trip chaperone or homework helper. We strive to maintain open and consistent communication with our parents so that parents can stay up to date on all that is happening in the classroom, on the playground and here at IHM. Parents receive a twice weekly newsletter, detailing all school events and news, as well as access to our IHM MySchool parent portal, where students and parents can review and find schedules, homework assignments, grades, teacher notes and updates, calendars, syllabi and so much more. We believe that it is essential to keep our students, staff and parents well connected!

Illumination 2019

Tickets are now on sale! Don’t wait to buy your tickets for the Illumination Gala, on Saturday, November 2nd, starting at 6pm at The Crane Bay Event Center in downtown Indianapolis. This event is only held once every two years and is always an amazing night of fellowship, food and fun with friends. 
Reach out to friends, family, school or parish groups to form a table, invite someone new to the parish or make it a date night and meet new friends! Tickets include a sit-down dinner, beer & wine, live & silent auction, and dancing.

Fund-A-Need
The 2019 Illumination Committee as well the IHM Parish and School are excited to announce this year’s Fund a Need items.  With the importance of the safety of our students and parishioners and the security of the IHM grounds, parish leadership has proposed several items that will complement our overall safety initiative.  Our goal is to raise enough money to cover the cost of an electronic gate with remote access on the Washington Blvd driveway as well as an updated gate along the archway. This will help manage and restrict vehicles from entering during school hours and at night when the parish and school are closed. In addition, we are also planning to use these funds to install safety lighting to the ramp outside of the church as well as additional exterior cameras and lighting around the property. These will be aesthetically appropriate with the existing architecture.  The goal of Illumination is to raise essential funds to assist the parish and school but to also celebrate our amazing and generous IHM community!
