*An Active Parishioner is defined as being registered as an IHM family, regularly attending Mass, making regular and appropriate stewardship contributions to IHM (recommended half the average parishioner contribution of $1,800), including and completing an online annual stewardship pledge, sharing time and talent in ministry at IHM and participating in periodic capital campaigns.

Financial Aid:

Our administration works with our families to meet the needs of every student. We strive to maintain affordable tuition rates for all families. In order to assist families, we offer tuition assistance via Indiana Choice Scholarship (voucher program), Scholarship Grant Organization Scholarship (SGO) as well as directly from IHM.

INDIANA CHOICE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM – also known as THE VOUCHER PROGRAM

What is this?

  • IHM is a participating school in the Indiana Choice Scholarship Program (known widely as “voucher” program). Through this program, families who meet certain guidelines and Pathways may be eligible.
  • The Indiana Department of Education provides these scholarships to eligible Indiana students to offset tuition costs.

  • September 1st – please apply between June and August
  • Applications are submitted by the IHM Business Office to the program
  • A copy of previous year tax return will be needed to apply

SCHOLARSHIP GRANTING ORGANIZATION (SGO)

What is this?

  • The program is administered by state-certified Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGOs) that award financial assistance to qualified students with funds raised through private contributions.
  • Tax credit scholarships are funded by donations from individuals or businesses who receive tax benefits in return for their contributions.

What is the application deadline?

  • December 1st – please apply between June and November.
  • Applications are submitted by the IHM Business Office to the program.
  • A copy of previous year tax return will be needed to apply.

IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY SCHOOL TUITION ASSISTANCE

What is this?

  • These scholarships are funded by donations from individuals who contribute to the IHM Tuition Assistance Fund.
  • The Spirit of IHM Dinner is hosted bi-annually to fundraise for these scholarships.

Who qualifies?

  • Participating parishioner families who do not meet the Voucher or SGO eligibility requirements above.
  • Students who have been accepted at IHM.
  • This is also a potential source of tuition assistance for parishioner families who have special circumstances arise.

What is the application deadline?

  • June 1st
  • An annual online submission through FACTS GRANT & AID to determine eligibility OR as family need arise

Tuition Payment Plans:

IHM offers three payment options through FACTS Management Company (automatic payments from a checking or savings account):

  • Annual– Tuition is paid in full by July 1st for the upcoming school year. FACTS waives the processing fee for these payment arrangements.
  • Semi-Annual: Tuition is paid by July 1st and January 1st of the upcoming school year. The school will pay the FACTS processing fee on behalf of all students in this payment plan.
  • Ten Month: Tuition is paid in monthly installments beginning July 1st of the upcoming school year and concluding in April.
