**Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic School strives to meet the needs of all students and families. Therefore, Immaculate Heart of Mary plans to provide an in-person and a remote option for students to safely return for the 2020-2021 school year. In order to provide resources for all students enrolled as of August 19, 2020, we are requiring families to commit to a full school year of tuition even if you withdraw before the end of the current school year.
Virtual / Online Learning Policy
In an effort to provide options for parents during the COVID-19 Pandemic we have created several online or eLearning options that are available to all students, including Choice Scholarship students. These options are described below.
Families can opt to have their students attend school virtually. Teachers offer a live stream of their classes, daily communication, and a weekly material pickup and drop off.
Middle School Hybrid
In the event that the MCPHD requires us to attend on an alternate day schedule, we have created a hybrid model of instruction for our 6th -8th grade students to ensure we are meeting Marion County Health Department Guidelines. Students are split into groups and are attending in class two days a week and virtually three days a week. Teachers live stream their instruction on days that students are attending online.
Long Term eLearning
In the event that there is a city or state mandated shutdown of schools. All students will follow our long term eLearing plan. Teachers will interact with students via live streaming, videos, and online formats.
At Immaculate Heart of Mary school we are committed to the highest standards and to maximizing every child’s academic potential. We offer a rigorous curriculum, Kindergarten through 8th grade, with a Christ-centered approach to educating the whole child.
